RESTORATION HOUSE
The first one is now called the Restoration House on the corner of Main Street N and 7th Street. Members cleaned, repaired, painted, wallpapered, furnished, and decorated this jewel with its long and colorful past. It is maintained and preserved as a house museum in the style of an upper middle class family living in the 1890s. The exhibits are a fascinating glimpse into how people lived at the end of the nineteenth century. The house is open to the public during the summer and by special appointment at other times.
