CHARITABLE GIVING

The Mantorville Restoration Association (MRA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving Mantorville’s historic buildings and protecting the town’s unique heritage for future generations.

Charitable gambling is one of the primary ways we fund that mission. Proceeds from pull tabs, e-tabs, bingo and meat raffles are first used to maintain, restore and improve the historic buildings owned and cared for by MRA. These funds help preserve the places that make Mantorville special and ensure they can be enjoyed for years to come.

Working Together for Mantorville

MRA partners with the Mantorville Fire Department Relief Association on its lawful gambling operations. MRA remains the licensed lawful gambling operator, while the Fire Department Relief Association provides volunteers to help operate activities like meat raffles.

This partnership allows both organizations to work together while continuing to support their own separate missions. When you purchase pull tabs or e-tabs at the Mantorville Saloon, attend bingo or participate in a meat raffle, you’re helping support both historic preservation and the Mantorville Fire Department Relief Association.

We believe this partnership reflects something important about our community: working together accomplishes more than working separately.

Giving Back to the Community

Once MRA’s preservation and building maintenance needs have been met, charitable gambling proceeds are shared with nonprofit organizations, community projects and local initiatives.

Whenever possible, we prioritize organizations and projects that strengthen Mantorville and the surrounding area. Whether it’s preserving history, supporting first responders or investing in community improvements, our goal is to keep these dollars working close to home.
